Burgers with Cheese, Tomato & Avocado
Ingredients
1 pound extra-lean ground beef
1 large egg
1 medium onion (finely chopped)
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper *
1 clove garlic (finely chopped) *
Small tomatoes, sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
Avocado, sliced
Cheddar cheese slices
Cooking spray *
12 whole-wheat buns

Directions
In a large bowl mix ground meat, egg, onion, black pepper and garlic.
Form 4 patties and set on a plate.
Coat a heavy skillet with cooking spray and heat to medium heat. Add the sliders and cook 2-3 minutes per side.
When burgers are ready, remove from heat and serve on a bun with desired toppings such as cheese, tomato, and avocado.
